Dashing Through The Snow in an Open Sleigh
Our last white Christmas in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex was in 2012. The ground was blanketed with snow and it was a beautiful sight to behold. We did have a lovely day of heavy snow on Valentine's Day in 2021 but it turned ugly pretty quickly when a days-long power outage followed it.
If I waited for the snow to celebrate the holidays, I'd be waiting a very long time, so I just make it snow in my Carrollton studio! Dogs, cats, and kids are all welcome and we create some Christmas magic.
The antique wood sleigh pictured here is a client favorite, but I'm working on a new idea for 2023 Christmas mini-sessions so be sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook for the latest news on when those will be available next year and to see a sneak peek this Christmas!
In the meanwhile, enjoy the fun below, we had snow much fun making these images!

But it Does Snow in Dallas Sometimes
This was the day before the big freeze in north Texas in 2021 that I mentioned above. This was pretty, but what followed it was very ugly! When it snows here, we make the most of it, so it was time for some snow Frisbee with Rooney. We didn't play for very long because it was COLD and it's really hard to throw a disc with frozen hands, but it was nice to capture a few frames of our Coppell winter wonderland.

Cahlean - If you can't have real snow, then the next best thing is artificial! Plus it is not nearly as cold! Lovely studio images with that sleigh!
