The brothers (Jake and Nick) got sisters (Gloria and Karim)! These two adorable boys patiently waited for their parents to give the OK to add a couple of feline furry members to their family and it was worth the wait.
They searched a number of local Dallas rescue groups and came across a litter of 5 kittens. One kitten was adopted when a family came along wanting to adopt two boys and that left the two little girls available which were just what this Irving family were looking for!
Each boy got to name their cat (Gloria is the white and tabby and Karim is the gray tabby) and they've settled in just great. This momentous occasion definitely needed to be captured so the boys, kittens and a plethora of toys all came into my Carrollton studio for a bit of fun.
This week's theme in the Pet Photography 52 Week Project is "fill the frame" and I knew a number of images from this session would fit the bill perfectly. I do like a lot of negative space in my images (lot's "breathing room" around my subjects) but sometimes tightening things up is just what an image needs.
