If I know that a dog is great at catching treats then I love to include a few treat-catch images in their pet portrait session at my Carrollton studio because the misses are often better than the catches so there's nothing to loose! Bubbles the Pug is a master at treat catches, her only misses were bad throws on my part but her expressive face made every frame a winner. When I saw the theme for week 3 in the Pet Photography 52 Week Project was "center", I knew I had the perfect image from Bubble's session when I tossed one "right over the plate" and she gobbled it up (but enjoy the "warm up pitches" before I hit the strike zone).
