This guy! Meet Austin the dashing Rottweiler from Germany. His family wanted to commemorate his first birthday with a studio portrait session and fell in love with my blue chair (so did Austin, who has no problems whatsoever posing away for me).
All Austin wants is love. And to be petted. He's a complete gush who is in IPO training, the elements of which include obedience, tracking and protection. I'm sure he rocks it on the field, but I can't imagine him taking on the decoy in the bite suit. The picture in my mind is more of him tackling him and licking him to death :).
Austin is not the first Rotty for this family, but he's the first to have this incredibly sweet personality that the family wanted to capture in the portraits. The verdict? Nailed it!
We took lots of images and Austin was a champ throughout. Dad wants a large portrait for over the fireplace, mom an album, and his grandma and human sister want prints too; everyone has their favorite portrait.
We're planning an outdoor spring session now with Dad's Harley Davidson; can't wait! There's also news of a little (canine) sister coming this summer...I'm drooling already!
