Tracy Allard of Penny Whistle Photography in Carrollton, Texas has earned the Photographic Craftsman degree from Professional Photographers of America (PPA). The degree will be presented to Allard by PPA president Mark Campbell, M.Photog.Hon.M.Photog.Cr., CPP, API, at the association’s annual convention, Imaging USA, to be held in Nashville, TN, in January 2026.
The Photographic Craftsman degree is an achievement of the highest caliber. It means that Allard has met the standards of excellence set by PPA. She been awarded the Photographic Craftsman degree in recognition of her service to the photographic profession as a speaker, author, and mentor.
Allard’s degree—and all the expertise it requires—illustrates her accomplishments and talent as one of a select few.
Tracy Allard is a long-time resident of Coppell, Texas and Penny Whistle Photography celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2025. She specializes in photographing families, their beloved pets, high school seniors, and corporate headshots—both on location throughout the DFW metroplex and in her Carrollton studio. Well known among local animal shelters and rescue groups, Allard frequently donates her time and talent to support homeless animals. She also holds both the Master of Photography degree and the Certified Professional Photographer designation, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning and delivering exceptional service to her clients.
