With everything going on in the world right now, the letters PPP are known by all as the "Paycheck Protection Program" which has been a lifeline for many families. In the studio however, PPP stands for "Poodle Puppy Palooza". I recently photographed "Ellie's Famous Rabbits" litter for Independence Poodles who schedule a pet portrait session for each and every litter with my Breeder Package. Independence Poodles is located in Mansfield, TX and is a fabulously responsible breeder. You can learn more about them, and their breeding program, by visiting their website or Facebook page.
Wee little paws, curly hair and adorable puppy noses make for some darn cute puppy pictures! I chose a spring-themed background that would complement the puppies' coloring and go well with the litter's themed names. While I'm behind the camera most of the time, I do sneak in a few snuggles and whiffs of sweet puppy breath.
We try to plan something different for the group image for every litter. I had just picked up this gorgeous emerald green chair in downtown Dallas, a real find on Facebook Marketplace, and thought the red standards would look stunning with it and I was right. We decided to embrace the chaos for this group image and just let the puppies run wild (with puppy wranglers on each side redirecting them back into the frame). I'd say the green chair was a win!
