Last week I had the chance to get together with some local, north Texas equine photographers for a "styled shoot" hosted by Terri Cage Photography, a good friend and extremely talented photographer. What's a styled shoot? Well, it's an excuse for a group of women to get together and have a great time photographing beautiful models and handsome horses!
Terri lined up the horses, the models, hair and make up and we met up at a new session location here in the metrolplex, Morningstar Ranch in Pilot Point who rents the property out for photo sessions. There's a pond, tree and tire swings and more. It's a fantastic destination and I look forward to using it for future family, senior and equine sessions.
When I saw the theme for week 40 in the Pet Photography 52 Week Project was "style" I knew I had just the images for this post. The model is Carli Stewart and she was beautiful and so stylish in her western, boho chic outfit and accessories. Hair styling by Megan Anece Hair and makeup by Makeup by Mela, dress by Spell. The black and white horse is Moon and the sorrel and white is Morganna.
