Happy New Year! Hard to believe it's 2020 and we're kicking off another year in the Pet Photography 52 Week Project. This will be my third year participating in the blog circle and I hope to yet again, never miss a week's posting.
I guess there's no better time than the present to announce that we have a new member of our family, added on December 29th. You might remember him from a blog post a couple of week's past when I puppy-sat the little sprite. Well, I fell in love and we decided to add him to our pack. His litter name was "Slater", so I couldn't help myself in making the pun with this week's theme of "blank slate". I look forward to training him, it's been a long time since we've had a puppy in the house; he really is a blank slate for me to make into the dog we want him to be.
I'd like to introduce you to Rooney and I'm sure he'll be making some repeat appearances in the blog throughout the year. The nicknames are endless (i.e. Macarooney, Kangarooney, Quintanarooney, Rootin, Tootin Rooney and on...), if you've got any ideas, I'd love to hear them but right now I gotta run because he's likely chewing on something (it's a good thing he's cute)!

I'm back and he wasn't chewing on anything, but he was about to! He's definitely going to keep me on my toes this year but for now we have to head on over to Pet Love Photography, serving Greater Cincinnati, the San Francisco Bay Area, and destinations nationwide to see what she has to share for her first blog post of 2020 and then continue clicking on the link at the bottom of each page for an around-the-world tour of fabulous pet photography! We've got lots of new members participating this week so I can't wait to check out their work and be inspired!
