Here we are in the 2nd week of the new year and the theme of the Pet Photography 52 Week Project is "tell a story" and I knew I wanted to share Brenda and Eve's recent session at my studio in historic downtown Carrollton, Texas. Brenda wanted a wall installation that told the story of she and her heart dog, Eve (they are too adorable for words!). I brought a number of different lenses to the session to add variety to the images we captured. I also incorporated a chair and my fantastic Tavern table featured in this earlier blog post. This was a great example that shows how much can be done in the studio.
Brenda had sent me a picture of her living room wall where the installation would be hung so I incorporated that into her reveal. After we narrowed down the images to her absolute faves, we then played around with various images and layouts, to correct scale, on her living room wall. She settled on a "9-up" layout of 10"x10" canvas wraps.
