It was a firecracker of a day at the Coppell Farmers Market on Saturday for our 4th of July photo booth with Uncle Sam benefiting Coppell Humane Society (CHS). I'm so proud to be a part of this wonderful organization, going strong for 27 years now! CHS's mission is to serve homeless, needy companion animals in the Dallas-Ft Worth metroplex and surrounding communities. They accomplish this through rescue, rehabilitation, and permanent placement in suitable homes; while striving to reduce their numbers through public education. Achievement of their mission depends on honoring, valuing, and supporting the efforts and contributions of our volunteers, donors and adopters.
I personally love the Market days, it's fun to see old friends and new, grown ups and kids alike play dress up in our photo booth for family and pet portraits. Over the years I've seen families grow with the addition of new babies and pups. We're lucky to have such a caring and close knit community, our morning at the market raised over $500 in donations and CHS merchandise sales.
I'll next be at the Coppell Farmers Market on Saturday September 10th with a Back to School photo booth; I hope to see you there!
