Waffles the rabbit is a beloved member of his family so of course he deserves professional pet portraits! This cutie pie dwarf bunny rocked his recent session in my Carrolton studio, offering up different expressions and practically doing backflips for lettuce (if only lettuce was THAT motivating for the rest of us LOL).
It's week 10 of the Pet Photography 52 Week Project and the theme is "lucky", which brings me back to Waffles; he's one lucky bunny to be so loved. I personally thing rabbits' feet are lucky when they're still attached to the rabbit! I hope that totem is a thing of the past because bunnies need their feet!
Rabbits are becoming more and more popular as pets. They're adorable (Waffles has that one covered), full of personality, clean, easily trained to use a litter box and are very lovable. The average life span of a pet rabbit is about nine years. They require veterinary care the same as our cats and dogs so bringing one into your family should be a well thought out decision. If you're ready to add a rabbit to your home, you may want to check with your local shelter first as they often have smaller animals available that can go relatively unnoticed among the more animated dogs and cats vying for your attention.
