A cake smash party for a dog you say? Of course! Remy's mom wanted to do it up big for his first birthday and I was down with all of it! C'mon, how cute is he? The cake is specially made for pups by Three Dog Bakery (visit their website to find one near you), his custom hat was found on Etsy and then the search was on for a fun and colorful collar to match - blue and green polka dots completed the look. We discussed various looks for the session, but ultimately Remy's dog mom wanted a clean, white background without decoration to focus on him, the cake and his hat so we photographed him in my studio in historic downtown Carrollton.
